The other night I had a patient high off his face because of morphine and he just kept talking and wouldn’t go to sleep. At about 1am I go in to check on everything and he asks me what my name is again so I told him. Then he went on about what a great singer Adele is and don’t I agree? And I was like, she’s a good singer, I just don’t listen to her much. So he asked me what sort of music I listen to and I said I’m more into rock. Cue trying to get a high man to stop singing ACDC at 1 in the morning while three other patients are trying to sleep.
Both equally wonderful for me at the moment.

The morphine is sadly essential to get me through the pain I'm going through following the op- my wound is approx 20cm long with 32 clips holding it together!
Benedict is a wonderful analgesic too! What a bonus !!
