The Magic Mirror :: Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937)
An all-knowing being trapped in a magic mirror, enslaved to and forced to answer the questions of whoever possesses him. He's so iconic that Shrek had to parody him AND that Disney itself felt the need to hint a backstory for him in their Disney-Easter-egg film Wish. He's been featured in Disney TV programs, DVD special features, video games, comics, and theme park shows, being voiced by the likes of Hans Conreid (Captain Hook) and Tony Jay (Frollo), among others.
