Many people going into "Because You'll Never Meet Me" don't realize that there are elements of sci-fi, especially as we take further glimpses into Ollie and Moritz's pasts. Despite my surprise, I appreciated the sinister undertones and depth depth of character that these touches provided to our protagonists and why their parents thought they might find a friend in one another...and I just HAD to make some creepy art for it, of course! (Especially because psychological thrillers are a guilty pleasure genre of mine🤭)
