Bit of an odd one here In 1951 (through to 1958) Morgan introduced the flat radiator Plus Four Vanguard as a replacement for the 4/4 with an extra 4 inches of wheelbase and powered by a 2088cc 68bhp Standard Vanguard engine, featuring Hypoid rear axle and hydraulic brakes. The Plus Four Vanguard was joined in 1954 by the Morgan Plus Four TR, a higher performance variant with a 1991cc 95bhp Triumph engine from the Triumph TR2. In 1956 the Morgan Plus Four TR was updated with a wider body.
