Flynn NoLastName Headcanon
She’s the one who hand makes her jewelry.
i wanted to bestow that ability onto Julie due to Madison being uber talented when comes to making earrings, but then I realized that it’s better suited for Flynn.
Every one of her outfits has been customized in some way shape or form, why wouldn’t her jewelry too?
And we all know that Flynn is upfront, she wouldn’t want to hide anything about herself, her clothes and jewelry are an extension of herself and she wants everyone to know what she’s about.
It started when she, Julie, and Carrie went to music camp (because they definitely wanted to live out their Camp Rock dreams, like come on).
I’d like to think that Flynn, Julie, and Carrie would get up to some mischief and that one of their punishments is to be forced to stay in the arts and crafts cabin for the day while the other kids get to swim and have fun.
But jokes on them, Julie would be doodling up a storm and Carrie’s already drawing up designs for the girl group they’re bound to form one day, and Flynn would be weaving bracelets.
She’s gotten so good at it that she weaves bracelets for not only her but for Julie and Carrie too. It’s become a thing for Flynn to make bracelets for the people closet to her and every year on their friendiversary, she gifts Julie and Carrie new ones.
Julie wears her many bracelets proudly, while Carrie would regularly rotate the bracelets depending on which ones best complimented her outfit for the day.
This is the case until Carrie all of the sudden stops being friends with the two and Flynn’s handiwork is never seen on her wrists again.
Flynn’s always on Pinterest and Etsy, looking for inspiration and buying up charms and kits to make more of her own jewelry. She’s become so obsessed that she walks around with a pair of pliers in her bag in case she needed to fix a chain and even keeps a box of clasps and earring hooks in her locker in case she comes across something to make funky pieces out of.
Each piece of jewelry tells a story for her, mark an important occasion, or to commemorate a special bond she has with someone.
If you see Ray don a leather band with hand-painted roses on them or Carlos wear a small silver chain with his initials on them- that’s a Flynn original, baby!
She also leaves rings by Rose’s resting place whenever she and Julie would visit because it was something she had loved receiving from Flynn.
Then these ghost boys come into her bestie’s life.
She doesn’t see them still. The only times she has they’re performing. They would talk via writings, and the more she learns about them, and the more she sees the positive effect they have on hers and Julie’s lives, the more she warms up to them...
One day in the studio, she strolls up to the boys, or wherever Julie claims they are, and hands them each a box.
She gives Alex a ring- the pinkest and the most sparkly one she has ever produced- not even Carrie had the honor of having something like this. She had Julie give her his ring size beforehand so she was pretty certain that it fits. She tells Flynn that the blonde let out a squeal once he opened his box.
(Seeing the box open by itself is weird. Even weirder to see the ring completely disappear, assuming that Alex has decided to put it on)
Then for Reggie, she gifts him a necklace with a pie charm at the end. This confuses him, but she explains its the closest thing to a deep dish pizza charm that Michael’s has. Flynn swears she hears a hint of laughter as soon as the necklace disappears.
And for Luke, Flynn made him a bracelet, a woven one like the ones she gives Julie, with beads and a tiny guitar charm on the end. She tells him that its the same weaving technique she learned from music camp, a place that she feels that in another life they would have all met at and where they all would have been friends.
Julie doesn’t have to describe Luke’s reaction. Her smile says it all.
Now as Flynn sits in during future rehearsals and whenever she would be front row to watch Julie and the Phantoms, a feeling of pride swells inside her when the boys materialize in front of her eyes, all wearing a Flynn original.
She’s been told they never take them off.
