Sometimes Gwen, doing her chores in the Lady's chambers could spot a new black pearl necklace on the windowsill, or a red rose on the pillow, a book or silk scarf she hadn't seen before... They appeared as if from nowhere. When asked about these pretty but still strange gifts, Morgana would pretend nonchalant but the mysterious look in her eyes, or elusive smile on her lips could give her away.
