prepare... for the Morandir Lore Dump! - he's a Ranger, but sort of an honorary one. He's obviously of Dunedain descent, and he helps out the Rangers often, but no one's really sure where he came from. He just kinda... showed up in Eriador one day, and basically got adopted by the Rangers. He's kinda like a stray cat, or that weird uncle you only see at family reunions and don't know who he's related to. - he's something a local cryptid throughout Eriador. Shows up to rescue travellers from goblins or bandits, find lost items, or take care of some troublesome undead, then vanishes into the darkness, as quickly and silently as he came. Occasionally goes into a town, but never stays long. tends to leave in the middle of the night, leaving nothing behind but some money to pay for his room. - looks and acts very unsettling. He's got pale, grayish skin, gray eyes that seem to glow in the dark, cold hands. Overall just looks like a walking corpse. He tends to stare at people without blinking. - I described him as "semi-undead" so here's what that means: he's not a straight up walking corpse like a barrow-wight, but he's not really alive either. The relationship between his soul and body is all kinds of messed up. His soul is chained to his body and can't leave, so he can't really die, when he suffers a fatal injury he just kinda blacks out for a bit and then wakes up later. - most active at dawn, dusk, or nighttime. Bright light kinda hurts his eyes. - very paranoid. Constantly being hunted by the servants of Sauron. Afraid that he'll bring ruin to people's lives if they get too close to him. - Personality wise, he's very quiet and serious. Doesn't talk much. Under the unsettling appearance he's got a big bleeding heart and always tries to help people. Huge soft spot for children. A loner who spends most of his time lurking in the woods, but gets attached to people really easily. If you show him a single act of kindness he will Die For You

for the LOTRO pony thing i submit my most recent character, Morandir. He's semi-undead cryptid of a Ranger, who spends most of his time lurking in the woods because he has the social skills of a brick. The LOTRO character creator doesn't really convey how spooky he's supposed to look, so here's a picrew & him on Heroforge
