Haw Haw the clown and friends at Mooseburger Clown Arts Camp!

I love going to Mooseburger clown camp in Minnesota. Amazing school to learn the art of clowning from professionals. A safe place to play and try new things. All levels of clowns are welcome there and you will never forget the experience. Sadly it was cancelled this year along with most group activities.

I wanted to start off my Clown Blog right by showcasing my favorite Ringling Brothers Clown - Julia Bothun! The thing I think she excels at the most is creating very unique outfits and she manages to incorporate colors most people wouldn’t think of for a clown outfit. Just look at all that black for example. Another thing is in recent years before the circus closed there seemed to hardly be any white face clowns left but Julia had a very simple and clean white face look. She also uses a nose on a string just like me so that’s a plus. She’s also the daughter of the famous clown and clown supplier Priscilla Mooseburger.
