feel the need to drop my two cents on this. the reason a lot of people do not care for “the A in the acronym is for ally!!” is particularly because. in most cases. (particularly 2018-2020, if i remember correctly) the common sentiment was “the A in the acronym is for ally, has always been for ally, and has always Exclusively been for ally. (no it doesn’t stand for Asexual because you’re not really queer)”
i don’t wanna go “aphobic dogwhistle” but like. if it blows like a whistle and it Looks like a whistle then it probably Is a whistle.
