Star pollen, Art by Lucas Garcete

A week into our WWOOF journey at a breathtaking and abundantly, educationally experiential working opportunity here at a horse farm south of Nashua, NH right over the Mass border. I've been learning #wildcrafting, getting better and clever in the kitchen, working with these amazing animal companions again, which is so in of itself valuable and reaffirming work. The labor is difficult at times yet rewarding. Here we have a homemade quiche, some #foraged horsetail for tea, some of the horses, and of course the #sunset and #moonrises which are beautiful over here. Escucha la respiración de las flores al rozar la guadaña del otoño; escucha la plegaria de sus estigmas, sin desgarrar la memoria del polen.
Listen to the breath of the flowers as they brush against the scythe of autumn; listen to the prayer of their stigmas, without tearing the memory of the pollen.
