I have made a solid 6 inches of progress on my Obert Blanket this month! I may even finish it before the end of the month. I've started on the final border section, which is just garter stitch.
The lovely ruler I'm using also has a needle gauge! I got it from my local yarn store, and it has been so useful.

I have not made much progress on this blanket since I cast it on. It's the second sample for my own pattern, and I am confident it will be the final. I just need to finish it. I have decided to knit two rows a day until it's done. That way I will be making forward progress all the time, even though it's slow.
