#moon analysis

THEORY TIME:

So with today's ep, I had to sit back at the new skeleton Sun. At first I was kind of mad cause like...what the hell is that. Who is that. Why is that? but then I got thinking. Whoever this is, it didn't seem like he had Sun's memories but he also did seem to? Has anyone else noticed there's been an increase of Suns just.... showing up?

First we had Rise from before the move. He was made from the perfect replica of Sun's personality and memories. The only problem is he didn't look at all like Sun. We find out later Sun's very important firewall was glitched and down. I think this is due to the painful zap he received when he teleported Wither Nexus to the empty dimension. @trashwriter1102 Actually went back and checked old videos for me to see when it was stated Sun had the firewall glitch.

We think it was either due to minor NSP poisoning from when Sun touched Nexus or from the teleportation device being unstable. It might have even been a combination of the two things causing Sun's firewall to fail.

Reminder, that firewall was made specifically because the Creator hijacked Sun's brain and was torturing him in his own mind. That firewall was necessary to keep Sun's mind protected.

So with his firewall down, Fazbear was able to fully download his memories into some kind of database and that's how they made Rise.

The only reason the family knew Rise wasn't Sun was because he was not built to look exactly like Sun. However, he had every one of Sun's memories and fully thought he was Sun. The episode they're introduced in ends with Moon wiring his brain so the knows he is in fact not Sunrise and a new animatronic entirely.

Sun was also fired from the daycare. I find that so suspicious.

Sun was by all accounts the record earning animatronic and the fan favorite at fazbear. He was still attending to the daycare until the very end.

So, it's very odd he was replaced.

It was explained by Moon it was possible he was maybe replaced due to his firewall going down but that just seems like an odd reason?

Then about 3 weeks later in TSAMS posting timeline another Sun showed up.

The Sun that looked identical to Sun who showed up slightly after. They just randomly showed up. The Yandere Sun.

He looks exactly like our Sun but didn't have any of Sun's memories.

The entire family did not know he was an imposter. The only way Moon figured it out was when Y!Sun asked who Terra/Earth is. He let it slip he doesn't even have a sister. Moon then proceeded to test him by threatening to lock Sun back up in a magic box Sun kept acting weird around Monty.

No one really asked how or why that Sun was randomly there...they just kind of called him a Yandere because he grabbed a knife and kicked him out.

So while that Sun didn't seem to be interested in replacing him does no one else find it strange he just showed up?

We also have been meeting this new re-occuring Sun and Moon who are animalistic and looking to expand their pack. They're like wolves and for some reason TSAMS Sun smelled good to them. They liked him.

Moon eventually did trick them into going to Eclipse's dimension (I actually really liked these episodes XD) and EAPS!Sun ended up wanting to go with them. To which the Alpha Sun rejected him because he smelled too much like a cat and was dumb like one too.

So smell wise....TSAMS Sun smells more dog like? Despite having cats as pets that he very much snuggles daily. It could have also just been a fun vibe kind of gag.

Fast forward more to after the move, Killer Sun showed up. He's been showing up frequently and no one knows why yet. It's assumed he wants something from the new Observer enemy, with the bounty out on Solar, but that's not confirmed yet.

In one of the more recent episodes we also met the E boy / Emo Sun (hate that name btw) and we find out he is in fact some kind of...clone? It's not really found out if he's a clone or from another dimension or what...but we do have evidence that this Sun either watches the show or has current memories of Sun's.

While it was very obviously not their Sun...Moon kind of thought Sun was doing something to be annoying. So he eventually tried calling Sun while Solar looked for him. Oddly enough, Solar could not find Sun and when Moon called that Eb!Sun's voicemail is what picked up.

Even though it wasn't Sun.

The number Moon tried went to Eb!Sun's phone.

I have a theory that it's due to this Sun (who might be a clone) has the same number as Sun and since he was closer to Moon physically that's why Moon's call connected to him and not our Sun.

Something else to point out.

Shortly before the first big confrontation and fight Moon and Monty went to go confront their most recent enemy. Moon tried to call Sun and he didn't answer. He's always answered so I found that kind of worrisome. Then we look at what's happening now. Sun is acting very strange.

Yes he's upset and trying to be petty and hurt Moon back...but his silliness with the wig...and how he seemingly keeps vanishing into his room. On top of all these random Sun's showing up over time. I can't help but wonder if there's more to the randomness? Remember...a long time ago Dark Sun impersonated Sun...and no one knew it was him. He's only been caught two times and both were due to Sun's Phone.

The only people to really notice something was off with Dark Sun was Dazzle. Not even Terra/Earth and Cosmos/Lunar could tell Dark Sun was pretending to be Sun. It was quite literally his phone in both instances that got Dark Sun caught.

This means...we actually don't know how many times Dark Sun has pretended to be Sun. While I know he's gone to his Suntopia we have to remember we still never found out what all of his motives were. We still don't know why he went to the effort to pretend to be Sun.

We still don't even know what he took from Sun's room or why he needed it.

We also know what Dark Sun did has affected the multiverse like some kind of poison. Suns are killing their Moons more and we even learned the statistic D!Sun told Sun about Moons killing their Suns was a lie.

We even have proof Sun and Moon variants, like Day and Night might be affected by what Dark Sun has done too because of them just snapping and changing one day. (I am not caught up on the new laes so it's possible I'm so off about this)

It's like...Sun is stated to be some form of a pillar Sun in the multiverse, that's why his decision to kill a brother affected the multiverse so deeply. Isn't it almost like...sun's are showing up now to take his spot?

I can't wait to see more of this. If more random Sun's will keep showing up. Are they possibly Sun's from other dimensions that want Sun's own life? I don't really know if that's the case but Sun vanishing a lot lately is...interesting.

MOON CRITIQUE TIME:

I feel like a lot of what I want to say has already been said. Moon flat out broke a promise and he's upset he's suffering the consequences of his actions. Moon I have such a hard time understanding.

He gives me the vibe of he loves Sun...but doesn't like him.

Moon has literally no problem actively choosing to hurt Sun over and over again. He condescends Sun too. Calling him emotional. Calling him sensitive. Implying he's useless and not needed.

The worse thing is...Moon has broken promise after promise. He's not just recently broken his promise.

Shortly after the move, he broke his promise to Sun to not commit crimes.

He broke his promise when he first came back and used the kill code voice on Sun.

He modified Sun's body without any consent....because it'd take too long to explain to Sun (who had a broken spine in this moment mind you) that he was installing some kind of super emp into him.

He didn't even think Sun could be useful when it came time to seeing Wither Nexus to another dimension.

Moon also has returned to his backhanded compliments, berating, demeaning, and just...screaming at Sun when he's mad.

When Sun first saved Moon and killed Nexus, Moon said he'd talk with Sun when they got back. He promised Sun it'd be okay and he'd be there and the moment they returned home he ran off to his lab and avoided Sun.

The worst part? When he did return and try to comfort Sun...he just straight up told Sun he did hate them at the start and that's why Moon literally tortured him.

Then of course recently...he accused Sun of being the reason why Nexus went crazy and that's just...wow. Sun literally confided in him how he feels about Nexus...how he blames himself.

Moon flat out chooses over and over again to hurt Sun because he's so insecure the only way he can feel good about himself is beating Sun down and excluding Sun.

It flat out feels like he's mad Sun's been outshining him lately. I can't think of any reason why he just chooses to treat Sun below dirt.

Sun's been spending more time forgiving Moon in his life then he has been living his life. He's spent more time justifying why Moon is so awful to him and he's now just...stopped finding reasons to forgive Moon.

Before Moon died, Sun could blame Eclipse, BloodMoon, or even KillCode for Moon's terrible behavior...but then he met that other Moon.

The one who never left a killcode in their Sun's head. The one who told him he wouldn't have done that to his Sun because it would have only hurt him.

Sun even went to several dimensions where another version of Moon just straight up killed their Sun. Sun denied Moon truly hated him Sun was also taught by his new family that Old Moon abused him. He did. There's no argument there. Moon is awful at times. Awful. Period.

He broke down Sun to the point where Sun would never have the confidence to leave him. He punished Sun unfairly because he didn't like the situation they were both equally in. He also hated Sun for being good with kids. He hated that Sun liked the daycare. He flat out resented Sun for being happy.

He resented Sun for liking him.

Then we move to after he died.

Sun told New Moon (Nexus) that he loves and likes him so much more then Old Moon...because when you look at the way Nexus treated Sun versus how O.Moon treated Sun it's just night and day.

We also saw how much better Moon treated Lunar/Cosmos...their enemy at the time and I truly think Sun hasn't forgotten that.

Terra/Earth also built Sun up through therapy and family love. For a short period Sun felt love and knows what it means to have a loving family.

We all know how that went with Nexus' downfall and Moonv3's return.

So with current TL, Moonv3 keeps making the same mistakes over and over again. It's cyclical. He wants to bring back the cycle of abuse for whatever reason.

Sun is for once in his life putting his foot down and standing up for himself and this makes Moon crazy.

He's yelling screaming and quite literally blowing up at Sun over really random and silly things. Even things that aren't Sun's fault Moon is now trying to blame on Sun.

He's genuinely just spiraling and not getting why Sun is being petty and stooping down to teach him a lesson.

Here's the thing...Sun hasn't yelled or insulted Moon once. Not once.

But Sun could absolutely devastate Moon. He could flat out disown Moon over this.

So here's where I'm saying new things about the situation. Do remember how much Moon spiraled when Sun insulted him so long ago? Sun called him a bad person and he crashed out so hard over that.

What Moon doesn't understand, and that he needs to, is Sun did not want O.Moon to come back.

He didn't at all.

Monty brought Moon back against Sun's own will. Monty asked Sun and instead of saying yes or no...Sun basically said do whatever you want because you don't care about what I have to say....and he was right.

Moon was accepted back into the family very...tentatively. Sun grieved for him but he still outright said, "Things won't be the same"

And they're not.

I'm truly glad Sun is standing up for himself but it's so sad that just the smallest push back from Sun is causing Moon to act this way. To insult Sun and bring up all the things that hurt him.

What will Moon insult next? Will Moon, like in the non canon roast video, just tell Sun he murdered Dazzle? He said it is Sun's fault Nexus went crazy.

Moonv3 is literally throwing a tantrum and acting out so childishly because in his mind, if he can get Sun to scream, to cry, to hit him, then that means Sun is no better then him and it can justify him hurting Sun.

It's a very childish and backwards mindset. It's exactly what he did to Sun in the Beta 10 bunker.

Remember? Sun was trying to be positive, to tell Moon it'd be okay. He was trying to tell Moon he loves him and they're in this together.

What does Moon do? Punches Sun in the face. Tells him he's going to kill Sun if he can't keep Eclipse under control (The same code he could not control). He outright called him stupid. Because if Moon back then could get Sun to hit him back?

That means Sun is a liar and it'd be okay to dismantle him. To punish him. Because Moon can't feel good in a situation or feel in control unless he's punishing Sun in some way.

Does he still feel or think this way? I'm not sure. I'm really not sure.

I think he genuinely is spiraling because he really didn't mean to hurt Sun and imply he was useless. But that's exactly what he did.

Moon needs to apologize and mean it.

Here's the kicker, Sun doesn't have to forgive him. Sun I hope doesn't. Moon can't learn without consequences.

Terra wasn't required to forgive Cosmos after he crippled her. Sun shouldn't have to forgive Moon for breaking promise after promise.

Moon explicitly is choosing to break his promises despite EVERYONE telling him he's in the wrong and he still can't fathom WHY Sun would be justifiably upset.

How is Sun supposed to genuinely trust his brother now? He can't. Why should he ever again?

Moon doesn't understand he's shown how absolutely untrustworthy he is. He needs perspective on that. I hope instead of lashing out like a hateful and ignorant child that he'll actually for once pull his head out of his rear end and actually try to listen to what Sun is screaming at him.

BloodMoon, the canon cannibal that's murdered hundreds of people, treats their sibling better then how Moon treats Sun. When the crazy cannibal character can be kinder to their own twin that should raise a big red flag to Moon.

This is just a side note, but to all the Moon stans and Moon kins, this is not an attack at all but how can you sit and watch the same show as me...and say Sun is in the wrong for acting out? How can you look at what Moon said and did and still take Moon's side? Are Moon stans/kins genuinely okay? Do they even have...friends IRL?

The way some Moon stans/kins talk just...it comes off like they see themself in Moon and I'm like, why do you personally align yourself with an abuser? A person who is perpetuating manipulation? Emotional abuse? Someone who's actively choosing to hurt someone they love...for the sake of hurting them?

They're the type to blame the victim, like how Moon is in canon. I don't begrudge anyone for liking Moon, I like Moon. However, I can't ever look at what he's doing and done and say "yeah he's valid for it" He's absolutely not???

There's a really big difference between reading problematic media and liking a problematic character for being well written and interesting versus SEEING YOURSELF as said character.

Moon stans, I'm not attacking you or anyone, you can like what you like....

But when you defend Moon it truly gives the vibes of those people who hear about someone being r***d and ask, "WhAt wErE tHeY wEaRiNg?" Moon stans/kins...you genuinely give the energy of people who hear about a girlfriend being beaten to death by her psycho boyfriend and ask "WhAt DiD sHe dO To dEsErVe tHat? LMAO"

Moon stans/kins, you give off victim blaming mentality...and I have to just ask, are you all okay? Some don't even see Moon as abusive? When he was??? We watched the same episodes.
