@moombaliberator was the very first FFVIII blog I really made an effort to reach out to, to plot something to get my footing and establish some sort of a relationship. I didn’t expect it would turn into such a wonderful (and painful) ship, but I’m really glad it did.

I can’t thank you enough for welcoming me so openly when I was first starting here. Without you, I don’t know how long I would have lasted. Maybe I wouldn’t be here now, either. But I am, and so are you, and I can say with great confidence that I love this fandom even more because you’re in it. You made me even more certain that picking Selphie up and bringing her to Tumblr was the right decision.

It seems to be sheer dumb luck that his table is occupied on this particular night as she passes by, although perhaps she has been hopeful to see him again, even if just one more time. She’s pleasantly surprised, if nothing else.

Laguna’s choice of phrase makes her laugh, but she still doesn’t try to correct him, focusing instead on trying to make the most of this unexpected meeting while she can.

Squall still couldn’t control the memories (dreams?) that came to mind when Laguna was around.He’d seen snippets of the man’s life he couldn’t quite describe, and certainly had no plans to.
