Patience, kindness, tolerance.
All things Leonard helped me realize. I used to be a really really really shitty person with a huge anger management issue. I’m not perfect now (nor will I ever be), because I still lose my shit sometimes. But my attitude toward life and others has changed drastically.
Leonard had so much to do with it. The kindness he showed others and the knowledge he shared on his twitter account are so important. This world would be a lot better off if everyone acted the same way toward each other.
That’s looking at the big picture though, and when you see it that way, it feels so unattainable. But that work of art can’t exist without all of the small, individual brush strokes that went into creating it.
So, little steps lead to big journeys and if I make only one person feel better about themselves or have the inspiration to write or to not be afraid to share their work or to just think twice before being a dick to someone else, the effort is more than justified.
