Yesterday I left a company that gave me and four others the surreal opportunity as interns and, even though I had to play catch-up in the learning process, I fought to do my best and was offered a contract position weeks prior to the end of the term and competition.  Though the team be small, it sure as hell is fierce. From management down to the interns - we eat, breathe, and sleep music. With a team of only 7 and teaching interns along the way, the licensing team works relentlessly to clear and license music for clients all across the US. I walk away from such a great opportunity with fantastic references and connections but an even better experience to continue my path. I have nothing but respect for my music licensing team and I will miss being able to walk into a store and say, "I helped get that music here."  #musiclicensing #music #steppingstones #moodmedia #moodfamily #musicbusiness
