At this point, Hel is just happy to have moments to relax and not have to worry about others. Find her sitting in the sunlight on some park bench, people-watching the mortals of Migard as they go about their lives. Children play, joggers jog, couples have picnics, and grown men have mental breakdowns on carousels. They live in the moment, worrying no further than perhaps upcoming appointments. It’s refreshing, and it really helps her to center when eternity starts bearing down on her. It makes her smile to see humans from all walks of life simply be, and needing no excuse to do so. The only thing that makes it better is seeing people walking their dogs, because any day she sees a dog is a good day.

He was the first to speak on her behalf when she found herself in Fabletown and the only one she’ll open up to (although she has to be a couple of drink in to lower her walls) about her struggles with assimilating. Rapunzel generally loves Bigby although how deep that love is she doesn’t know and things get complicated when she realizes he’s miiiiight be interested in someone else (who may or may not be one of her lost daughters ooooohh.) Least favorite thing about them: He doesn’t share his smokes. He can’t keep his paws off her relics. She’s pretty sure he sheds everywhere. He always looks like he doesn’t want to be in her apartment even though she’s NEVER told him to visit and he does it through his own volition. He always forgets the wasabi and she hates it when he leaves. :(

     ❝ hello? ❞ he calls out somewhat tentatively, not entirely sure what to expect         from a town that looks like a fairly normal small new york town but for         some inexplicable reason has the buzz of magic in the air.

“There’s something I’m particularly curious about.” He crosses his arms over his chest while looking at his son, raising an eyebrow. “I wonder why you haven’t told my grandchildren about what happened to your mother. I was sure you’d do anything in your power to avoid those children to be near me.”
