#monsta x tutorial

This tutorial will show how to gain points for THE SHOW for MONSTA X. It’s better to collect points early to go towards The Show. Make sure to convert your points to THE SHOW before the 18th of every month or your points will be reset

1. Download the STARPASS App ( Android | iOS ). After installation, make an account via Google and make a username for your account. Select My Star to continue.

2. Once MONSTA X is chosen as “My Star”, choose a member to continue

3. Go to CONTENTS located on the bottom bar. Choose the white circle to upload a link to a video or upload a picture. You will receive 20 points for every upload. You can upload a maximum 2 pictures and 1 video per day (= MAX 60 points)

4. Go to “Point charge”. Here you will able to watch a maximum of 5 Video ads gaining 10 points each time (x5 = 50 points MAX)

5. You can also gain points through using the STARPASS app lock. Every time the app is opened, this app lock will appear to choose 2 pictures to unlock the page.

Customize your icons, and upload your favourite pics (12 pictures)

6. From these 12 pictures, choose 2 for your lockscreen. Exit and enter app to try out your lockscreen. You will receive 3 point every time you do this task

7. CONVERT YOUR POINTS TO THE SHOW POINTS

Go to “Point status”. Here you can convert your points to The Show votes.

Silver stars reset at 4AM on the 18th day of every month

In order to send gifted songs, you must have a Melon Account with a registered Korean phone number / I-PIN. However, anyone can be gifted a download of a song.

The MONSTA X MELON PROJECT will divide donations for MXMBPROJECT to send International volunteers individual downloads of the Monsta X title track when they comeback. (You can still apply to download the Monsta X title for free! Applications close on 19th March)

This tutorial will explain how to receive and download the Monsta X Title track that has been gifted to you, as well as deleting the download to make sure that it does not interfere with streaming activity. This tutorial applies both to iOS & Android devices.

A1. Keep your notifications on for Melon. This will let you know when you receive your Melon download. You will likely receive your download on March 26th ~6PM KST (Likely 6PM - 8PM KST)

A2. Click on the notification when you receive it! You can then download the title track that has been sent to you

B1. If you have not turned on your notifications, you can access your gifted Title track download by clicking on your “MY” Page.

B2. Click on your gifted title track and download as directed.

After you download the song (wait a few minutes), Please delete the download of the song if you consider to continue streaming.

How to Delete your downloaded Title Track

1. Go to your Storage on the Melon App

2. Follow below as directed

3. Click the following to allow you to delete the download

How to Download a Gifted Song (Melon)

Download a gifted song on iOS / Android

1. Go to melon.com. With the ID you’ve been given, please check first whether your Melon account is NORMAL or through KAKAOTALK. Enter details as given to login. Please make sure with PC that you have INSTALLED PC SOFTWARE before doing this! (HOW?)

2. Once logged in, you should find (1) gifted download. This will be the Monsta X Title track

3. Click on the gift box

4. Confirm

5. Download as directed

You should be redirected to the MELON PC Software.
