Listen to this "Monkey Star": despite the 'space' side of the song, do you recognize the musical signature? Yes: behind the 'Arpadys' project, we find the members of the disco group 'Voyage'. But if 'Travel' meets a great success in several countries in this year 1977, we can not say as much of 'Arpadys'. It is true that the songs engraved on what will be the only lp of the project are not really catchy ... How to qualify this album? Experimental music, ambient music? All titles are written and arranged by Sauveur Mallia and Pierre-Alain Dahan, who also play instruments in the studio. Slim Pezin and Marc Chantereau, the two other members of 'Voyage', are also in the game, but only as studio musicians. We also note the participation of Georges Rodi, whose specialty is the synthesizer. Finally, the disc is produced by Roger Tokarz, who is also the producer of the albums of 'Voyage' ...
