bet u didn't see that coming. ok let's start with this. and this is not an "otp" headcanon. just normal relationship (normal are u sure???????????)

not a huge headcanon tho but i kinda like to imagine what would happen if scaram not gonna write it well and barbus met. maybe in another meteorite event or idk i'm just main barbara person

1. think of them as a messy relationship. like they bring out the worst of each other (barbara without knowing ofc)

2. scaramouhjsdghfh would be tempted by the fact that barbara is the 'sacred' representation itself. all pure all too good all kira kira cinnamon idol. a great chance for a fatui to corrupt someone and make some psychological havocs.

3. and for someone, we're not talking about anyone but a really good one for Mondstandt just as barbus is.

4. despite all this, the truth is that barbara just don't get scarajasdfhjakf and she doesn't do anything but drown him in her kira kira sparkles of love and hope. this clearly freaks scaramoushjsj out.

now........ untill here all sounds funny, crazy and a little out of nowhere. so we're ready for the murky part.

Scaramouswejsjs takes advantage of two things:

1. that barbara insists on seeing goodness in him (better known as being naive and dumb)

2. that barbara has a lot of darkness repressed in her heart for all that she demands of herself. u know, most of all because of Jean. and of course someone like the fu**ing 6th fatui will notice that kind of deep sht and especially if this person is a novice at the church service in a world where THE GODS EXIST????
