My biggest pet peeve with the "Batman should break his no kill rule" is like. People genuinely act like he's the only superhero around. If he doesn't want to kill people it's his right, if someone really needs to be killed there's THOUSANDS of other superheros (many much more powerful than him) that will kill people.

Like I get out of universe we know the only chance (and it's a 0,0000000000001% chance) that Joker dies is if Batman kills him but like. Batman doesn't know about editorial mandates. In his FICTIONAL universe, there's like 10'000 people who are perfectly willing to kill people who could when Batman is, idk, in space with the justice league or he's otherwise unable to stop it from happening and it just... doesn't happen??? He doesn't have to be the one that kills him. Other people can kill him. Stop acting like batman is the only dude around.

IDK why people are so understanding of the fact you don't send, idk, Green Arrow alone against Darksied, Braniac and Doomsday who teamed up for some reason but are unwilling to acknoledge that heros will have different moral codes and work better for specific missions when they don't have to do acts they dislike or disagree with.

I feel like people have started hating Janet from HR to the point they seem to forget that Janet and Ivy's relationship is like, extremely abusive. No G.Wilson didn't "just switch harley with some random background character" she's using Janet to comment on Ivy's complex relationship to humanity and how she dehumanizes people around her and she (obviously and rightly) doesn't want to make Ivy abuse Harley in the process.
