Tequila and trains
Date with Man B lasted 2 hours and four cocktails, the finale being tequila-based. Good going for a Monday night.
It got me thinking about chemistry, something that has always been instant for me and as soon as I saw him across the bar I just didnât feel anything.
I left feeling a bit grumpy; I work hard and try to be a good person, and I donât want to spend my Monday night drinking tequila and listening to âif you like pina coladaâ whilst talking about trains (which was when he became most animated). The song is not his fault. Just everything felt a tad awkward and staged.
He seemed very sweet and was either very nervous around me or totally disinterested. As he gave me a brush of his beard when we parted ways I couldnât help but hope it was the latter.
