Monarch is back! And Wish got (another) redesign..! A redesign I made everyone very aware of and that everyone wanted… WHOOPS! (At least he is making a comeback!)

I do plan on drawing more and was going to draw more memes with them before posting these, but these two drawings alone took 7 hours to draw-

MonarchTale might be in a different multiverse or may just be put into an existing one.

Agavus would always tell Morpho about secret meanings to not only flowers but also to other symbolism as well.

Cybele had to take a year to learn how to control their new body then had to learn how to dance and entertain after that. So it took a long time before he even went into the performance stage.

Daunus has gotten almost all transcripts of each play that has happened in Orenda and has actually annotated each one. She actually was going to make her own play by herself but work got her not working on it.

Agavus would always be weary and careful- even if his actions and facial expressions don't show it. Agavus would probably be the unknown and the unassigned protector of their AU alone. Well if you don't count Morpho. But Morpho isn't concerned about visitors.

Thisoa and Croceus still have a strained relationship somewhat in MonarchTale but they aren't divorced nor not living in the same place. They can be civil and still care very much about each other but the fact their children died left a wound that is difficult to heal.

{Memory commences. 'The incident']

Music filled every corner of the streets of Orenda. Flowers and pieces of wish cards were flying through the air as monsters danced and cheered. Everywhere you looked there was entertainment, feasting, singing, dancing, drinking, and smiles on every face.

Today was a special day. It was the festival of Hope for the kingdom. Where everyone shared their wishes and hopes for the future through such festivities. Even Sans had to admit that he had lowered his guard. Seeing his brother make the most noise as he danced exaggeratedly with his armor still on.

It was humorous. Sans doesn't normally relax and have fun but guess he could make an exception. Papyrus and Undyne were pretty much starting a dancing circle. He takes a sip of his goblet full of wine as he watches the scene. It certainly was lively.

Hell, even the King was dancing with the Queen somewhere in the dance circle.

"BROTHER! STOP STANDING AROUND AND DRINKING! JOIN THE DANCE!"

Papyrus snapped him out of his thoughts. He glanced up, his eyelights meeting Papyrus' eyesockets. A smile tugging onto his face.

"Sorry, no can do- I think I would pop a socket or something if I danced like you are doing, Paps..."

Just as his brother was about to respond to that- his eyesockets spotted something rapidly reaching the crowd. All the warmth he was feeling drained out of his body and the goblet slipped out of his hand. Spilling all over the floor.

He was late. The laughter turned into screams of panic as hooded figures started attacking the crowd, with zero hesitation. The only ones who recovered fast enough were Papyrus and Undyne, along with himself. Each of them summoned their weapons and went to defend. Their goal was to protect the people.

"EVERYONE- GET OUT OF THE SQUARE! HEAD INTO HOMES!" Papyrus shouted as a battle began now that the royal guards were beginning to fight back on the assailants.

It was a blur. He barely could remember what happened. But they fought and fought- defended with all their might. Until...

Crunch.

Pain. Searing pain. Shards of bone fall from his eyesockets. One of the hooded figures had landed a large attack right into his two eyesockets. He could barely register what words he had spoken in that moment.

"BROTHER!" Papyrus. Shit.

Papyrus had seen, both him and Undyne got momentarily distracted.

That was their fragile mistake.

The hooded figures they were up against took that opportunity to get them as well. A sword pierced Papyrus' right eye socket. While a fire attack hit Undyne's left eye.

He doesn't remember what came next. But he knows the group of cloaked people left right after achieving something. Leaving the festival in ruins.

This also means that players don't exist in MonarchTale. It is simply Frisk (Bellargus), a child, trying their best to stop a war and live peacefully with their found family.

There are Three main Kingdoms that are important to the story of MonarchTale. They all neighbor each other.

Orenda: The kingdom of Monsters, ruled by the Dreemurr Royal Family. A happy kingdom that often has festivals and community based days. The place where Frisk's journey and where the AU takes place. Resides near the mountainous areas, because of this- Orchards and Trading is how they maintain their kingdom in the economic aspect.

Lacuna: The kingdom of Humans, ruled by the Lavune Royal Family. Placed within the plains and therefore relies on trading and farming to maintain their kingdom. A lot more corrupt and misguided compared to the other two kingdoms.

Sortiger: The kingdom of mixed company, both humans and monsters. Ruled more by a court than a singular royal family but operates and acts like a monarchy. A more neutral kingdom that is mostly peaceful. Resides near the ocean and therefore relies more on fishing to maintain their kingdom.
