Mohawk - Austin, TX - Friday November 17th 2017

It was a sold out night for my “We’re Not Going Anywhere” release show. My two pals, Matthew Logan Vasquez and Small Houses, opened up the evening and all was right in the world. Life was beautiful as 800 of us all came together to celebrate the power of music and community. Personally, I was incredibly nervous (It’s possible I drank a little too much pre-show) but the band played brilliantly and by the third or fourth song I caught up and rode the wave. We slayed. We felt simultaneously like kids and kings. It was a night for the books and one I look forward to topping sometime down the road. - David Ramirez
