Annalise speaking startles Ava, breaking her concentration entirely. Thankfully she wasn't too worried about it at this point, the worst of it all having passed by this point. "It's not mine," The lie comes out of her before she can even begin to think of something else to say. Arguably, saying that was worse than just admitting she had been through the wringer, but the last thing Ava needed right now was someone fussing over her.

"Shhhh..." Lance would blush looking around. No one was nearby, with a sigh his tail would slack and he'd continue. "That is fine, as long as you do not mention anything to my family- I have a reputation and I do not wish to be known for being kidnapped and having my clothing & armor consistently destroyed and used as a plaything by a blob creature."

A blink, and he looks at the other maid and yeah...yeah his much more respectable, but they still look good, so he's going to nod his head. "Yours looks good, though. It suits you."

"...this is probably a super weird question, but do you guys sell invisibility potions?"

Wait, she should... probably provide context, now that she thought about it.

"Not for anything creepy!" Spectra insisted quickly. "It's for field research! You know how easy it'll be to observe an animal in its natural habitat if it can't see me?"

A little bell rung overhead as the door was pushed open. Stepping in from the boisterous market street, Daedra let the heavy door shut behind her, muting the shop into a muffled quiet once more. Looking about, the botanical scents of the various plants and powders tickled at the redhead's nose. She pre-emptively gave the rather button-like feature on her face a mild brush with her sleeve, hopefully to prevent any embarrassing sneezes.

Eventually, Daedra spied what she assumed to be the service counter and went over.

"Um... hello? I'm hoping to buy some herbs and powder mixes," she called out, not too loud but hopefully enough to grab attention. With her peace said, Daedra quickly reaches into her pocket to retrieve a folded bit of paper.
