I'm very excited about this book although it is very hard to freak me out.
Reading Anne Rice's Mayfair witches at an adolescent age did the trick for me.
Or what's more The Excalibur books by Bernard Cornwell when I was a child.
I can go further; Les Misérables by Victor Hugo when I was 5.
So bring it on.
