Protect Your Mother Ocean. Happy World Ocean Day! When I lived in Australia I was already making an effort to be #plasticfree. I stopped using plastic bags, takeaway coffee cups, and plastic straws. I knew coming to Bali it would be different because drinking water is all in plastic bottles. I was so excited to find that many places in Bali now do not offer plastic straws with their cups. They have switched to paper, bamboo, glass or stainless steel all over the beautiful island and it has made such an impact. "My highlights" have all the places I have been to around Bali that are a part of #noplasticstraws. Meet model, naturopath, and nutritionist @bonnee_fahlstrom who is now a MOC influencer! She grew up vegetarian and in an organic home in Sydney. She is now vegan and believes that by living a conscious and healthy lifestyle it creates an abundant life full of meaning. When she was 4 years old she was a part of the Bible Garden where she watered and cared for the flowers in the garden. She also worked with McKay Reserve planting trees. When she 12 she worked with Peace Angels from NIDA to bring hope, peace, love and joy. She is in the book "Peace Angels" by Antoinette Sampson and the profits were donated to Brahma Kumaris Australia, which is a part of a worldwide spiritual movement dedicated to personal transformation and world renewal. We have to act quick as they keep deleting pages to create new ones - the only way to save the Dolphins is to educate the tourists: Another idea is to go under the hashtag or geotag of Wake Bali and leave comments on the photos of tourists who have visited WAKE. Remember, these tourists re usually un educated which is why they choose to support. Educated then encouraging them to stay away from these places in a kind manner is the way to go. Attacking or bashing someone will only make them angry and likely visit this place again. Love and compassion is contagious we just need to enlighten others.
