He doesn’t understand your embarrassment.

Look at you!!! You look amazing! Why is something like that bothering you so much?

He may not understand, but he still does his very best to make sure you know you have nothing to be embarrassed about.

He’ll buy you flattering clothes!

He knows you don’t like low cut stuff, but every once in a while he manages to sneak a dress in.

He thinks you look amazing in them.

If you ever feel self-conscious, this man will pamper you.

Rest assured, he’ll do everything in his power to make sure you know exactly how beautiful he thinks you are.

Expect constant compliments.

You might not like drawing attraction to your chest, but he certainly does.

Eventually, you warm up to it a bit.

With someone constantly cheering you on, it’s hard not to believe in yourself.

Kunikida

Out of everyone in the ADA, you were definitely the cheeriest

Especially since the Agency’s detectives saw so much death in their jobs.

It was always nice to have your personality in the mix.

He never really asked about your ability. It was never crucial to the job, and he assumed that if you hadn’t used it or discussed it, your ability might not be something you like talking about.

So he left it be.

You carried on being your usual cheery self.

Until you both took a dangerous assignment and got yourselves cornered by the Port Mafia.

You figured this was as good a time as any to use your ability, so you did.

Anyone surrounding you was dead before they could speak.

And Kunikida was speechless.

You didn’t really want to look at him. Your ability was dangerous and deadly, so you tried to avoid using it.

It threw him off at first. It wasn’t what he was expecting.

But honestly? He doesn’t think too much of it.

It’s an ability. Just like his, or Yosano’s, or Kenji’s or Dazai’s.

If you don’t want to talk about it, he won’t make you

But he’ll always make it clear that your abilities may be part of you, but they don’t define you as a person.

Atsushi!

The day you ended up revealing your ability was interesting.

Atsushi didn’t even know you had one, so when the Port Mafia managed to trap you two, he immediately stepped in front of you to fight.

Of course, he knew you were perfectly capable of defending yourself, but if he could end this battle easily with his ability, why wouldn’t he?

Then you stepped in front of him instead.

He went to grab your shoulder and drag you back again, but you rushed forward.

He saw a light before everyone in the room except you two was lying dead.

He was a little shocked, to say the least.

You were the one always cheering people up?

You’ve got your work computer decorated with smiley faces (which Kunikida protests daily)

And you’re standing in a pool of blood, making sure you’ve killed every one of the men around you.

He took a minute or two to process it, which made you feel incredibly guilty.

Eventually, he snaps out of it and moves on, thanking you for saving him.

It’s small, but you appreciated it.

He made you feel normal despite the air of death attached to you.

He understands if your ability is hard to control or something, and he’ll ask questions

“What is your ability exactly? I-if you don't want to answer that it’s fine! I’m just curious.”

It’s Atsushi though, he understands not wanting to talk about it

It doesn’t change anything

He would’ve been just fine knowing nothing about your ability

But it does feel nice knowing that you trust him (as if you didn’t show it enough already)

Chuuya

For someone who works in the Port Mafia, an organization known for crime and murder, you were an awfully cheery person.

Chuuya usually wouldn’t have liked that but on you? It was adorable.

No matter the job you always found some stupid joke to make. With anyone else that quality would’ve pissed him off.

So imagine his surprise when you take out a room full of guards casually, then walk through their blood like it’s nothing.

His mouth probably hangs open for a minute.

One of his subordinates probably asks if he’s okay (to which he promptly punches them)

You were never really clear on your ability, in fact, he’s never heard you mention that you had one.

He can understand why.

He likes people to know he shouldn’t be messed with but letting people know the ins and outs of “For the Tainted Sorrow” makes him uncomfortable.

Really, he’s impressed more than anything.

⚛Kunikida⚛

This is not what he had planned

His ideal spouse? Nothing like you.

You spent time pranking everyone in the agency

You ran into dangerous situations without a second thought! Or a plan for that matter.

You only acted on instinct and didn’t think at all.

You were a brash, idiotic troublemaker who had no real regard for your own well being or the safety of others

So why on earth was he so utterly enthralled by you

If it was anyone else he wouldn’t put it with it at all.

Not only does he put up with it, he finds it adorable

Sure, he does get somewhat fed up when you spend all your time pranking the entire agency instead of actually finishing your work, but you always seem to find a way to finish anyway.

And he can appreciate that work ethic.

He’s the one reigning you in a lot of the time, but you also get him out of his comfort zone

And he’d never admit that he doesn’t hate trying things that he didn’t actually write

He scraps the page about his ideal spouse

He never really thinks about it again

It’s definitely not what he expected, but for once in his perfectly constructed life, that’s okay.

⚕Dazai⚕

The second he met you he had one thought.

“I wonder if she’d be up for a double suicide?”

Imagine his surprise when you say yes?

Of course, you don’t end up dying but that’s okay with him.

“Well, how could I let something so beautiful die!”

You and Dazai both have your more eccentric moments, so he’s definitely not one to judge.

He loves it when you play along with his jokes on Kunikida.

Sometimes you can get him to write a journal entry before he realizes you’re messing with him.

Practical jokes on everyone? Sure!

But he’s never trying to prank Yosano again, He’d rather stay alive.

What he doesn’t like is your recklessness.

You’ll run into problems without so much as a plan, which he does not approve of.

You’ve gotten yourself hurt on multiple occasions, and although he plays it off with joking jabs, he’s genuinely terrified you’ll get yourself killed one day

And although he wouldn’t say no to a lovely double suicide, he’d much rather have you alive.

Every once in a while you’ll get into a small fight.

“You know that was reckless, you almost got killed, Y/n!”

“If I didn’t do something there would be more people dead. That’s the job, Osamu.”

And you’re right. That is the job.

But that doesn’t mean he likes it.

He’ll hold onto it, but brush it off with some sort of joke at his expense.

But he still loves everything about you.

Even if it gives him a heart attack half the time.

Chuuya is very smol™

And he’s dating someone taller than him? Hilarious.

No one in the mafia would dare point it out though

They’d rather live to see tomorrow

There are limited people who could make fun of his height and live

Namely Dazai (even if he will get a good slap) and you

And there’s nothing better than using his head as an armrest (no matter how upset he gets)

You bet there are plenty of nicknames getting thrown around

Even though most of them leave Chuuya frustratedly stuttering

Chuuya still doesn’t get too upset with you

I mean, how could he get upset at someone as perfect as you?

He doesn’t mind your physical affection most of the time.

It’s usually just you falling asleep on him, or pulling him close to you

Sometimes it’s bothersome, but most of the time he finds it sweet

But if you ask him about he’ll just say he “tolerates” it

Besides, when you hug him he ends up in the perfect place, so hug him all you like

But he won’t be so nice about it if you show that much pda in front of the mafia members though

He’s their boss, he can’t be hugging his girlfriend all the time!

Leaning down slightly when he tries to kiss you without warning (extra adorable)

Part of him kinda likes that

He’d never admit it though

“Oh, I’m sorry! Didn’t mean to bump into you miss!"

"Excuse me Ma’am.”

"Anything else, Miss?”

They were small sentences, but they made you feel horrible. Like you were putting in all this effort for nothing.

You found it hard to look into your mirror. You just didn’t want to confirm the fact that you looked terrible. So feminine.

Dazai noticed you were upset pretty quickly.

You didn’t really come right out and tell his, but the change in mood was more than enough.

"Everything alright, love?”

"It’s okay, nothing major.” You said.

He knew that was a lie pretty quickly. He managed to get a straight answer out of you after a minute or two of pestering.

“People just keep confusing me for a girl, it’s not a big deal.”

It is to him.

People confusing you? And affecting you this badly? Not gonna happen.

He reminds you how handsome you are. How he could never ask for a better boyfriend.
