Feel like the popular ships in tumblronpa are the ones that are controversial, have spicier dynamics, and make for good smut/yandere au's. I noticed that the majority of the community tends to overlook the healthier ships cause they're just boring in their eyes

Caosuke is definitely overhated. While I feel like it could've been better, it wasn't so violently toxic. I can't help but look back at Katsuruhi and even Elsaya, relatively good ships that were well played out, their characters were good parallels, nothing was rushed, and the characters loved each other without having their entire part of the game revolve around the two of them. Yet, they've fallen out of favor when it comes to the main part of the community.
But, then you have, say, Cherlowe, which was executed so quick, and really changed what Marlowe could have been. He could have been a normal-ish, probably straight, peppy guy, and that's something the community as a whole could have benefited from. I really hope to see him somewhere else.
I've noticed that a lot of people in the community don't really like the 'girlboss' type of characters (Natsu, Asami, Katsu, etc.) and prefer soft, sunshine female characters (Cherrie, Kasumi, Mitsuyo, Anastasia, etc.). The only exception is Elsa, cause she's basically made tumblronpa
It's borderline misogynistic how much most people ignore characters that have a lot of depth for bimbo-like ones. Natsu, Asami, and Katsu all got decent development at the very least, and reacted in a much more appropriate way. It's horribly stereotypical how we expect every male character to be dark and brooding, and every female character to be a total bimbo. And non-binary characters? The only ones I can think of right now are just...weird. Not in a good way.

Different anon here. I’m sure you both made this blog with good intentions, but I sincerely believe everything else was poorly executed and gives off the inconsiderate impression that it was made in bad taste. Everything just feels so ingenuine and condescending. What kind of response do you really want to get out of everyone with this, if I may ask? Everyone else is still freshly hurt from the past few days, hell, even the past few months. Of course it feels iffy that this whole thing will be brought up to them again, especially those who have stated to be uncomfortable at the mention of it. In your first post, you literally mentioned someone who has previously and explicitly stated that they wished to be left alone from now on. You’ve made them even guiltier for even thinking about leaving the community in order to take some time off and spend time in a healthier space. Kudos to you for trying to keep the Tumblronpa community alive, I support it, but this is not the way to go about it.
Mod X here. I explicitly keep out of that type of drama for reasons that I don't think you need to be privy to. So, pardon me for not knowing. I don't even follow half of what is now supposed to be our "community". I did not mention Dash, for one, so I have no idea who you could be talking about. Thank you for trying, but I will not be answering any asks from here on out.

There are definitely things this community can’t say as people to hurt each other’s “feelings”, and thats just wrong as fuck
A majority of TR participants are indeed teenagers, but without (positive) criticism, they will never learn how to improve. I understand many of us are mentally ill, and I myself am too, but we cannot stew in that. If no one is ever told that their character, or their roleplay, has faults or plot holes, they will never know to fix them. See how some people have remade their characters. If we shy away from assisting others under the guise of hurting their feelings, they will never get better. Sometimes people's feelings need to be hurt.

Oh, yes. Cherlowe certainly isn't the peak TR relationship, that will always be Katsruhi in my heart, but if Cherrie didn't like it- she wouldn't condone it, yes? It just shows that while not the best, they're two consenting adults, and if they want to focus their life around the other, well...Why not?
