It feels like people kind of “soften” Shelly’s Autistic traits and stuff to be more palatable to them rather than how she actually is. Dunno how to describe it but Shelly has traits of an autistic person where they can be annoying and talk a lot about their special interest rather than “haha im a bit socially awkward and like this thing”. Shelly in terms of her love of dinosaurs is like Liaos from Dungeon Meshi and people should try to remember that.
Also TRIED of the infantilisation of Goob because hes a character who can be read as someone who has a cognitive disability. he is not an itty bitty wittle baby hes an adult man with disabilities. Does he forget simple stuff easily? yes! does he have difficulties with specific tasks? yes! does he “act younger” or whatever? yeah! but that doesn’t mean hes a wittle precious baby.
+ separating rnd is ablest yes they are fictional characters and so what happens to them isn’t real but reasoning that “they just are better” seperate is ablest. Tell me why they should be seperate without ablest intent NOW
