Hey, guys, I’m not sure who’s still around, but I wanted to share something with you that’s been on my mind. Despite the fact we were transparent about the fact contributors would need to pay for the physical zine, I deeply regret that decision. It’s coming up on a year since the sales started, and I keep thinking about what could have been done differently. It was our first zine, and I know in my case, I had a very one-track mind of getting as much money to Stefan as possible, you know? But thinking back, sure, we had a lot of contributors, but I know we made enough money that everyone could have been compensated.
It’s just been heavy on my mind lately, and I know no one really approached us about it, but I really want to apologize. Trust me, if I had the funds, I would be ordering a new batch right now to send to you guys.
I’m still very glad to have helped create this zine, I learned a lot about what it takes to run a big project like this. If you have any ideas or thoughts, please send them my way.
