Hi all, I’m gonna talk about something serious for a second, if you all will indulge me.
I just had to block someone who recently followed us because they had H*tler in their URL. I want to state that we have 0 tolerance for things like that. I do not care if it was “just a joke” or “it wasn’t meant like that”. It’s still the name of a vile creature who took the lives of millions, we should not be desensitizing or trivializing it. I want to make it clear that we will not tolerate any kind of hate on this blog, whether it has to do with religion, race, gender, sexuality, etc. This is a place where all are welcome, except those who spread hate and ignorance. It is simply not acceptable.
So, if you think I am over reacting or are fine with people using slurs (that are not reclaimed/self identifying words) or hate symbols on their blog/in their URL, please unfollow us.
