Kenji whats ladybug in russian pls
Kenji hints!
Why are you asking me? I don't know a lick of Russian. I am going to look it up, something you could've done on your own, anon.
It's bozh'ya korovka or something.
And don't mind the UI language, I don't know how to switch it back. I don't even know how it switched to Russian in the first place.
mod hints: yeah it's indeed божья коровка. god's cow. but коровка - the word for cow - has a diminutive suffix. so it means a very small tiny cow. god's tiniest cow (okay i am going overboard with the little size of the cow, but you get the idea). also the diminutive can signify the speakers affectionate feelings towards the cow. the speaker thinks the cow is cute. why god's,, why cow? i dunno. because it has black spots and flies? that's a personal guess, don't take it seriously.
oh, do you want a children's rhyme about a ladybug/god's cow?
божья коровка, полети на небо/принеси на хлеба/черного и белого/только не горелого
ladybug, fly to the sky/bring us some bread/some white, some black/just don't bring any burnt bread (rough translation to get the meaning across)
burnt bread... hehe... uh i am getting off-rails, buhbye
