Please keep being involved in the fandom and the community! New fans discover the show every day, and so far this has been such a welcoming community. We’re small, but active, and it’s great to see people still working to SaveWOY with us.

One of the biggest parts of SaveWOY is the letter-writing campaign to save our show. So never forget to e-mail, send letters and postcards, reminding Disney of our goal. Talk about why you love the show, episodes, merch, whatever (and don’t feel bad if you’re repeating yourself, there’s only so many ways to say we love WOY, we want it back). We just want them to know we exist.

The petition is nearly at 52,000 signatures already and more keep being added. We’re all in this together, so keep spreading the fandom love, keep telling Disney we want season three, and just keep being great in general, y’all.

Hello! This Trending 27th we’ll be doing another group drawing sesssion alongside the usual T27 posts!

We will be using anondraw.com, an infinite-canvas drawing site (mobile-friendly) that requires no signing up, so everybody can join in! The style is much like Oekaki or Paint, meaning it’s pixel based and not pressure sensitive. All skill levels are welcome ♡ Of course you can join just to watch or hang out in the chat as well!

Feel free to take screenshots of your art as you draw and queue it up to post in the #wander over yonder tag at or after 8pm ET, so we’re always adding relevant content to the tag.

I will post the link to our drawing room when it’s time.

When will we draw?

FRIDAY, 27TH OF JULY, 7PM ET (UTC -4)  (That’s today, because someone (me) forgot to post this early) until around midnight, 12am ET. You can check this link and compare your local time to Eastern Time if you’re unsure what time that is for you. Drop in whenever!

Collaborate, but be respectful. You can add to other people’s drawings, but stay mindful. This also means you have to expect people to jump in on your drawings – please don’t take it personally!

You may erase your own drawings (using the white color, as there’s no actual eraser), but please do not erase other people’s art.

When you enter the drawing room, choose a color to draw with. PLEASE STICK TO THIS ONE COLOR ONCE YOU’VE STARTED DRAWING, SO IT’S EASIER TO TELL WHO DREW WHAT. 

There will be a section on the canvas where you can write down your Tumblr handle and your color. This isn’t obligatory, you can also just join in anonymously, but if you’d like to get credited in the final post.

I will post the results at #t27 anondraw and might use them to advertise for future drawing sessions, so if you don’t want your art to be included in future posts for any reason, just tell me in the chat :)

There was, many moons ago, a great idea to submit appropriate fan art to @disneyxd. They accept and sometimes post these pictures for their SatARTday and other fan art celebrating events. Hit up their Submit, read the terms of service, and if you’re amiable to them, submit away so they see the WOY fandom is still kickin’.

Generally, scheduling is only set for a few weeks into the future, and even that we’ve seen change (I’ve personally run into the issue of zap2it being more accurate than the Disney site’s schedule, oddly). But as Disney XD itself put out a video promising Wander Over Yonder by name for this summer’s event, I’m willing to trust that somewhere in the future they have planned a WOY event. Just gotta hope they actually advertise it and put it on at a reasonable hour.

Thanks so much for checking, though. Sometimes it can be really hard to verify what’s happening when, so keep an eye out and keep on checking, fans. Mod Pansie will likewise be watching the Disney XD schedules for any WOY episodes airing this summer.

A tentative yay for Wander Over Yonder being listed on the Disney XD Calendar for November 12! Here’s hoping it’s a go this time, since the 12th is only a few weeks away.

Hello, everyone! This is the promised WOY birthday wrap-up!

Above are the two drawpiles we did over the course of the day. I actually didn’t get the Tumblrs of everyone involved (for those who did have accounts) so if you recognize yourself feel free to mention it. The names I do have are @iggycat95, @yugimew, @picturesbybest, @lavalamp-of-epicness, @cosmicglitteredpumpkin, @wandeeoveryonder, and a few names but no Tumblrs, like HATER and jonsthaman.

As for the stream, while I was not able to interact much on it except to switch over seasons, it seemed like people really enjoyed it. I even spoke to a few folks just popping in to see what was playing and who stuck around for a few episodes, as well as fans old and new. I would also love to give a shoutout to @do-you-emeraldsea-whatididthere (Sea, on the stream, for any of you who got on and might have talked) who was there for ages. Almost every time I popped on to switch seasons, they were chitchatting, enjoying the episodes, and overall showing just how welcoming our fandom can be.

And finally, thank you everyone, mentioned and unmentioned, who came on, who spread the word, and who made this impromptu celebration a, well, celebration! I would love to do something like this again in the future for you all. With a little more forewarning though, lol.
