Trending 27th August 2019: an open letter
Honestly, I know you will see a lot of letters from a lot of people today, talking about a certain show and asking for something. And this won't be the exception. I encourage you to read them, as all of them have something to say about this same topic.
Here's mine, with my own story.
The show we are talking about, is named Wander Over Yonder. A show created by Craig McCracken, that had its run from 2013 to 2016, running for 2 seasons before its cancellation. That show taught a lot of people, from different ages, valuable lessons about being yourself, helping others and specially, being kind to others, all in a simple and colorful animation.
Every person sending this kind of letter has it's own story on how this show helped them in one way or another. Mine is simple: I found the show last year, and it helped me to realise that I don't have to give up on something, even if I gave my best and couldn't be able to do it, and that your so called flaws that you want to forget, sometimes are your reason to be who you are. Those are lessons I keep really close to my heart. It truly helped me to fell better about myself, relate, and to see that you can be kind, and you will be ok in this crazy world.
Sadly, the cancellation got to us in a really sad way, and for different reasons. Some are (like I explained) because people can see themselves in the characters or stories, and learned lessons that now can even be their motto. Others are for the storyline, which sadly couldn't continue, ending the show in a cliffhanger. Even the crew at some point explained that had the 3rd season ready in mind, with more relatable stories, and a nice ending.
If you don't really know what I'm talking about, I reccomend you to look it up, maybe watch both seasons. Maybe you even can relate to some of the characters, like the optimistic Wander, the hardworking Sylvia, the wise Peepers or even the powerful Lord Hater.
The main reason to the letters, is for you to think up about getting the show a chance to end this journey, by getting a 3rd season. I know that time and money can be a problem, and other projects are in hand. But I ask you to just think about it. It surely would make a lot of people happy to see that, not only an amazing journey that started in 2013 would get a proper ending, but also to see that this show, that taught us so much with all its kindness, is still deeply loved.
Hoping for you guys to just think about it, I send all of my good vibes and kisses

PS: As how Wander would say: It really never hurts to help π
