I’m actually unsure. I dunno if Margaret actually gave birth during the story so she may have been pregnant when she and William submit to the water. The Decemberists adore tragic love stories as I can’t recall many that actually end well—most either end in death or the couple unable to be together.

That would be Shara Worden who is the lead singer and songwriter for My Brightest Diamond. She does a lot of work singing with other bands due to her fantastic voice. She is also in the folk, indi rock genre.

Yes, it does make sense and that album is so fantastic! I was actually listening to it yesterday and had Hazards of Love 3 (Revenge!) on repeat. The HoL4 makes me cry so I just can’t with it.
