#mock cables

Finished these shorties and like them enough to cast in another pair. Version2 will have twisted rib cuff & probably a less pointed toe.

You may notice the project numbering goes a bit out of order; this was finished back in January, but the weather is only just now warm enough to venture out without Layers for photo ops! (The most impt part of the process lol)

After making a small gift with this yarn, I had enough left to knit a pair of ankle socks. No attempt to match; just knit as yarn came off skein. I really love working this pattern.

Been knitting these on and off for quite a while. That fade to black with twisted stitches is rough, but worthwhile. Really like the finished texture.

Here’s an unusual jumper/pullover! The name of the pattern is “Bloomsbury,” a design by Svetlana Volkova, and can be obtained on Ravelry.com. The lacy mock cables not only run up the sleeves, but down the back. As a reminder that one should be alluring from all angles, the French have called detailing such as this, “Suivez-moi, jeune homme!” (Follow me, young man!)
