Curse the day I devoted myself to Substitute. 

Took a break from comics to draw my favorite ladies!! I’m not in love with how this turned out, but they can’t all be winners!

Fruit of the forest. A bowl of deeply chilled, dark fruit, in a bed of ricotta crumbles and sweet vanilla touched curd. Adorned with fresh mint. This gift came in sweetness that lingered deep on the tongue, and an inexplicable chill of no origin.

Hidan was beginning to realize that people really seemed to enjoy fruit.

When someone claimed to have a sweet tooth, he had never really considered that it applied to fruit. It always made him think of chocolate and candy and cake.

How could something from nature, that was good for you be considered an indulgence?

The dish was rich.

Comprised of out of season berries and some kind of crumble that reminded him of cheesecake. The mint was a nice touch. One of his favourite flavours. As long as it wasn’t overpowering.

It was a good breakfast. Mostly healthy. Sweet.
