Oh! All your favourite books are related to a World War... is it just a coincidence? (sorry for asking so many questions, I'm feeling kinda obnoxious xD)
I think it's more about the time than the wars. I'm a little bit fascinated with the 30's/40's/50's, aesthetically, and these books analyze the beauty and the air of that time in a wonderfully poetic way.
What's your favourite book? :)
uhm... I'd go with 'The End of the Affair', by Graham Greene. 'The English Patient', by Michael Ondaatje, is a very close second.

What's your favourite book and movie? :)
Can't answer the movie part because it's just too hard but as for book it's a tie between "Choke" by Chuck Palahniuk or "The Road" by Cormac McCarthy, I've re-read both of those books God knows how many times!
