The hacker frowned at his mobile screen when he received no response from his significant other and decided to check CCTV to see what you were up to. He booted up his computer and fiddled around until he connected to the CCTV network. After a few moments of surfing through the various camera channels, he stopped when you appeared on the screen. He saw you were sitting at the desk in the bedroom with textbooks sprawled across the desk. Breathing a sigh of relief that you were alright, he pressed the intercom button, ready to chide you when he heard your voice filter through the intercom.

“Calculus? More like calcKILLus because a piece of my sanity is dying with every equation.”

“When am I going to use this in the real world?”

“I don’t even know what I don’t even know.”

“Trigonometry? More like TRIGGEREDnometry.”

“Screw this, I’m going to drop out and become a stripper. I can calculate the radius of throwing my ass in a circle in front of my sugar daddy.”

After hearing the last comment, Seven intervened before you could make good of your word. He called your name through the intercom and you looked around the room, searching for the source of the voice. “Jesus?” you questioned with a bewildered expression. “That’s my part-time job on Sundays.” Seven responded. You narrowed your eyes and scanned the room until you spotted the camera, “Not in the mood, Saeyoung.” Seven immediately knew you were not playing around when he heard his birth name. “What’s wrong, jagiya?” Seven asked. You motioned to the mess on the desk, “I have an upcoming math exam and I don’t know any of the material. I’m going to fail.” your voice cracked in the end from frustration.

Seven zoomed the camera to focus on the writing in the textbooks. Seven burst out laughing when he realizes what you were trying to study. “Sine, cosine, and tangent? That’s so easy!! I could practically do it in my sleep.” Seven exclaimed. Seven started to explain how to do the problem but stopped when you cried, “I can’t do this! This is so confusing!” You looked ready to pull out your hair and Seven began to worry about your mental state of mind, “Hey, hey, hey. It’s okay if you don’t get the problem straight away. Don’t stress yourself out trying to learn it all at once. It doesn’t mean you’re going to fail if you make a few mistakes. Just take deep breaths and do it step by step.” You listened to Seven’s advice and calmed down after letting out a deep breath that you didn’t even know you were holding. “Thank you, Seven.” you smiled into the camera and held up finger hearts. “Anytime, jagiya. Let me know if you need any more help, okay? I went on an undercover mission as a math professor once.” Seven revealed. You shook your head in amusement and agreed.

“GOD SEVEN OH SEVEN SIGNING OFF.”

“OH AND MC?”

“Yes, Seven?”

“Take this as a sine from God that you need to practice more.”

“Catch these hands, Saeyoung.”
