Hey just wanted to say your posts never came across as offending (offensive? anyways) to me as a trans dude. I don't care much for the tag (if it was "Samantha 'Root' Groves" it'd be shitty but I feel like the use of 'SG/Root' makes it work 'cause some stories might be about a pre-Root Root, y'know? idk) but if it bothers other people I get why you'd wanna fight ao3 on its use.
The âwriting about young Root when she was known as Samantha Grovesâ thing is part of the argument for the piped tag, yep, but looking at the guidelines for canonical tags in name change situations itâs pretty clear that the canon and fandom level of use of that name isnât enough to warrant piping the canonical. Iâve asked them why theyâve stuck with it even though the understanding of it from this side of the matter suggests they shouldnât, and basically the furthest anyoneâs gotten has been âbecause we said soâ and thatâs a big part of why Iâm Irate, hah.

I did, i fixed all the things, (plus i upgraded the scanner) but mining seems a better way of making money fast, been mining gold and emeryllium (something like that) which sells for 250-275 per unit, and iâve been finding some trade items that sell for 10-11k a pop so thatâs been working out well.
Also my new multitool has a feature where yo can blast away at the ground, which i think might be fun?
