Hey

It’s right here!
going batty part 20
masterpost
holy shit. part 20. holy fucking shit.
Marinette was elated. Damian had just kissed her! He was pretty good at it too, if she did say so herself.
When she pulled away, he chased after her. Giggling, she tapped his cheek and he stopped. When she saw his pout, she giggled once more.
“Wait, I have a question for you,” she told him by way of explanation. He blinked, looking a little dazed from the kiss, before nodding at her to continue. “Damian... wait, I still don’t know your last name, this isn’t as dramatic if I don’t know your last name.” He blinked again before huffing out a laugh.
“Wayne,” he answered with a fair bit of trepidation. “My last name is Wayne.”
Marinette was puzzled about why he’d sounded anxious to tell her, but then her brain caught up. “Wait. Wayne? As in, Wayne Enterprises? As in, billionaire Bruce Wayne?” Oh god. She’d been dating the son of a billionaire and she hadn’t even realized. Was there etiquette she was supposed to be following? Was this why he hadn’t told her his last name yet?
He fidgeted on the couch in front of her, and she realized she’d just been staring in shocked silence this whole time. She quickly sputtered out an apology.
“I- I’m so sorry, I didn’t recognize you, if there’s etiquette or something I’m supposed to have been following I’m sorry that I don’t know it,” she started, clearly rambling. The more she tried to stop talking, the deeper a hole she dug herself. “Would your family be okay with you dating someone so far below your station or whatever? I, I mean, if we’re dating, we’ve only been on one date, I MEAN, not to say that I don’t WANT to date you, because I do, it’s just-“
“Marinette,” he cut her off, his fidgeting having been replaced with a grin as she spoke, “it’s fine. My father doesn’t care about station or etiquette or things like that unless we’re at a gala with people who DO care about those things.” His smile turned shy, though it would be hard to notice if you didn’t know him. “And... I’d rather like to date you, if that’s what you want.”
Marinette sat up straight, surprise clear on her face. “Oh no, I ruined it! I was gonna do this big dramatic thing where I ask you to be my boyfriend and I ruined it!” Damian blushed.
“You... you can still ask me, if you want to,” he replied, seeming like he was trying to retain at least a smidgen of his cool stonefacedness and failing miserably. Marinette lit up like a christmas tree, taking his hands gently and holding them between where the two of them sat on the couch.
“Damian Wayne,” she began, looking deep into his eyes, “would you like to be my boyfriend?” She spoke the word with all the weight it had in her mind. He grinned.
“Of course I would,” he answered, squeezing her hands slightly. She squeezed back.
“Can I kiss you?” she asked him, and as soon as the question left her lips he was already leaning forwards, one of his hands leaving hers to cup her cheek instead. This time, there was no clicking of teeth, no misaligned noses smushing together. There was just Damian, kissing Marinette like there was nothing he’d rather do.
Marinette raised her own hand to cradle the back of his head, playing with the ends of his hair. It was surprisingly soft; from the length he kept it at, she’d assumed it would be course and a little scratchy, but instead it was smooth under her fingers.
Damian was a very good kisser, she decided. His mouth was warm and soft against hers; she wondered if he used chapstick or if he just had naturally soft lips. She smiled at the fact that this was the type of thing she got to wonder about, now. Damian pulled back a bit.
“What’re you smiling about, Angel?” he asked her, smiling back. She giggled.
“I’m smiling because of you,” she answered, her smile taking on a satisfied tinge as a blush grew on Damian’s face. She lifted her hands to his cheeks and ran her thumbs across the path of the blush, just because she could. He blushed more at the action and she giggled.
“...Do you wanna go back to kissing?” he asked, but just as she nodded, the door to the stairs opened and her parents walked in. Marinette dropped her hands like she’d been burned, clasping them together in her lap.
“Marinette?” her mom asked, looking curiously at the two of them. “Who is this boy?” Her dad showed up behind Sabine, looking over her at the two of them. Marinette looked at Damian questioningly, and he nodded slightly at her.
“Mom, Dad, this is Damian Wayne. My boyfriend.” Her dad gasped, her mom smiled, and Damian waved awkwardly. “He’s very important to me, so please be nice to him,” she told them, looking between the two of them to make sure they both nodded affirmations at her.
“Well, son, it’s a pleasure to meet you,” her dad said, walking over to them. Damian stood up to shake his hand, and Marinette saw her dad squeeze Damian’s hand a little harder than stricly necessary. “You treat my little girl well, okay?” he added.
“Dad, threatening him isn’t being nice to him. Damian is very kind to me. You don’t need to threaten him,” she scolded. Tom let Damian’s hand go, smiling amiably.
“You’re right, honey. I trust you to pick who to hang out with. But if he ever hurts you, you let me know, okay?” Marinette laughed and hugged her dad.
“Okay, dad,” she answered, stepping back with a smile. Her mom now stepped up to talk to Damian.
“Will you be staying for dinner? If so, do you have any dietary restrictions?” she asked him, smiling pleasantly. Marinette was glad her mom was actually playing nice with Damian, though she suspected it was mainly to balance out her father. Damian looked over at Marinette.
“You can stay if you want, Damian!” she answered, smiling. She tried to make it clear that she would be happy if he wanted to stay, but there was no pressure if he didn’t want to. He smiled back gratefully.
“In that case, dinner sounds nice. As for dietary restrictions, I’m a vegetarian,” he answered. Sabine nodded.
“Okay! Marinette, ground rules: if the two of you are in your room, the trap door stays open. Your curfew is still 11, unless you tell us beforehand and get permission to sleep over. Alright?”
Marinette nodded. “Okay. I think we’re gonna head up, but we’ll leave the trap door open.” She looked to Damian, who nodded. Her parents smiled at them as they went up to Marinette’s room, leaving the trap door open.
Marinette’s eyes caught on the unfinished outfit on her desk. She quickly looked away, turning back to Damian. She smiled at him.
“Wanna continue where we left off?”

Lovechild au - 2
Marivenger where Sabine and Tom are SHIELD agents protecting Marine. The daughter of three Avengers (Iron Man, Captain America and Winter Soldier), born of a Hydra experiment.
Part 1
Marinette could be a brat when she wanted
With them disguised as a beautiful family of bakers, newcomers to Paris, she takes the opportunity to play tricks on people
At the bakery opening, she managed to convince everyone that she didn't understand/spoke French
As everyone mumbled about how cute she was, Marinette (in Mandarin) commented on ways to kill someone with just a baguette, an innocent smile on her face.
Every time a client asked what she was talking about, Tom and Sabine lied saying they were compliments
Everyone believes, because like, it's a child! There was no way she could say something very bad
Tom puts this in the daily reports and Tony, despite worrying about macabre ideas, is proud of his little demon
At school, Marinette (who is seven years old in the papers) enters Ms. Bustier's class.
For the first few weeks everyone was uncertain around her because they thought she didn't understand French very well
One of the times Chloe tries to mess with her, Mari goes to the principal's office, not bothering to talk to Ms. Bustier, knowing that the woman would do nothing.
“Sir, I came to complain about my classmate Chloe Bourgeois. She's been making racist jokes about my parents and me, talking about how I'd better get back to my country.” She says seriously. The director is momentarily speechless, shocked. “If you refuse to punish her, I will be obliged to contact my parents and lawyers for justice.”
When Chloe is called in the principal's office, everyone is surprised and Mari just sits there, in the back of the room, enjoying her tea
The mayor appears trying to stifle the case, but Marinette faces him
André Bourgeois is not ashamed to admit that he had to change his pants right after the girl Dupain-Cheng left the room
Chloe was suspended for three days and had to write a letter of apology to Marinette's family
After that day, Mari secretly became Dupont's heroine even though no one talked to her
She enters the school athletic club at 8 (6)
It was no surprise to her family that she became the team star
In this au, Marinette wants to follow in the footsteps of Tony and Bruce and be a science nerd
So, she ends up becoming the cute-badass-nerd at school
At 9 (7) she and Chloe become friends after the blonde is finally honest with her apology
Marinette forgives because they are children and children are sweetheart
The class keeps an even greater distance
Chlonette bff
Mari helps Chloe with her problems (parents) and Chloe helps Mari show more (sincere) emotions around other people.
"Adrikins" doesn't happen
But "Maribug" does
When an older student tries to intimidate Chloe because she is the mayor's daughter, Marinette doesn't think twice before punching the boy in the balls.
It doesn't take long for rumors to start hanging around school
The best rumor is that she tried to kill Eric with a pudding
But she and Chloe don't care.
Time passes, the class was getting used to the brunette's way
Not with Chloe, because Chloe was only nice with Marinette
When she does 11 (9) Tikki, Miraculous and Ladybug happen
It doesn't take long for her to find out that Chloe is Chat Noire, her partner against Hawkmoth.
Because it was obvious and she was a genius
... Needless to say, that Master Fu came to live with a constant headache after that
With not-so-secret identities, Mari decides to tell Chloe the truth about everything (parents and hydra)
“I knew a normal person wouldn't have the courage to face Chloe Bourgeois.” That's all the blonde says before they watch SAW again.
Then Adrien starts attending Ms. Bustier's class
Female school population boils
The two friends barely blink for the blonde's presence at school
"Um, there's a model in our class now... What do you think about train after class?"
"Model? Cool... Sure! First I have to talk to my parents.”
"OK."
He befriends all but both, because everyone warned him of Marinette's behavior and how possessive Chloe was.
Until the two save him from being torn in the middle by his fan club
Mari fully carries him in her arms like a bride
Do you hear the reverse crush going on? I know!
Marinette oblivious, blushy Adrien and jealous Chloe
The class ships Adrinette
Dads don't approve
Chloe wants to strangle the model
Sabine just wants to end this mission and take a vacation in Hawaii
Tom thinks that the croissants needed more love

ML Headcanon Time!!
Sabine Cheng used to be a lot like Kagami, she wasn't very outgoing but she was hella confident, she didn't make a lot of friends because her parents were very strict. She had to be the best at everything.
In comes human disaster Tom Dupain, who was probably born with a mustache (jk) and he sees a kidnapping attempt on Sabine. Sabine kicks ass, but Tom goes over to make sure she's okay and puts a hand on her shoulder and, with no hesitation, she just flips him. And Tom, our human disaster child just stares up at her and blurts "You're beautiful! I mean that flip was beautiful! I mean are you okay?" All in one breath while blushing. Sabine laughs and that's the first time Tom had ever heard his classmate laugh and he falls that much more in love.
They start to become friends slowly because Sabine's parents don't like Tom and Tom's dad doesn't like Sabine but they are so ride or die for each other. Sabine's parents get worse and she just decided, you know what fuck it, and leaves the family but her aunt who is super kind takes her in and Sabine had always got along with her cousins and she gets raised by her aunt and uncle and they absolutely love Tom! Future Interior Designer
* I believe I am in over my head for this one. It’s been a while since I wrote an actual story that wasn’t scripted. I’ll probably continue this but I don’t know... besides that, I hope you enjoy it...
Marinette wonders how this came to be. Her room, once full of life, now appears to be lifeless and dull. Pictures of her friends no longer hang above her desk, only designs. She licks her lips and gently rests her right hand on the desk, tearfully she picks up the photos. Nothing felt right. As the photo of Alya and her stare back, Marinette tosses the photos in a wastebasket. Tikki pops her head, lips pursed with concern.
“Are you sure you want to do this, Marinette.” She speaks as more pictures are thrown away. Marinette sighs as the last of the photos land in the basket.
“Yes Tikki, I am.” She murmurs as her hands, balls closer to her chest. “I think it’s time for a change. Don’t you agree?” Her sight focuses on Tikki. Tikki smiles softly and hugs her chosen.
Marinette scans the lower level of her room, closing her eyes, she turns to the trap door and walks forward. As she runs down the stairs, she sees her parents in the kitchen in the middle of a conversation.
“Maman…papa…” Marinette softly speaks. Sabine cuts off the conversation and turns towards her daughter. Her face is plastered with concern as mama bear takes over. “Is there by any chance I update my room. I don’t feel comfortable in it anymore with everything that has been happening.”
Sabine and Tom have noticed the change in their daughter demeanor of the past few months and stare at one another. Sabine comforts her daughter and whispers, “Of course, I know a customer that deals with interior designing…do you want me to call her?”
Marinette looks up at her mother in aghast. Nodding, Sabine knew her daughter’s answer. She motions for her husband to grab the phone. Tom obeys his wife and goes to find the house phone. Marinette smiles as she knows how supportive her parents are for her.
“While I make that call, why don’t you get some rest and we’ll talk about what’s been going later when dinner is finished. Are you fine with that?” Sabine asked Marinette nods knowing that she wouldn’t be able to hide her issue any longer. Sabine places a gentle kiss on her daughter’s forehead and breaks the hug.
Marinette disappears back to her room.
When Tom returned, he hands the phone over to Sabine who instantly puts in the puts the phone number of Aimée Pierre, a local interior designer that was located near Paris, to use. As the call ends, Sabine smiles to her husband and embraces him.
“I hope everything will turn up alright.” Sabine sighs, exhaustion was slowly taking a toll on the youthful mother.
Tom kisses his wife's cheek. “Let’s go check on our little muffin.” Sabine smiles.
When the two went upstairs to their daughter’s room, they too notice the lack of personality of their daughter. Sabine's heart breaks for her daughter, leaving her wishing she notice the changes sooner and spoke up about it. Tom didn’t feel any better, either, this is his baby girl, his light in the darkness, their everyday ladybug despite the hardships she deals with.
Sabine goes over to their sleeping daughter on the chaise. Marinette stirs awake and hugs her mother. Sabine holds her daughter like her life depended on it. Tom joins in. The small family embraces the silence not noticing the small kwami smiling brightly at them.
Marinette tells them almost everything: how Lila basically turn her class against her, how Alya chose to exclude her from events and hangout then demanded to know why she wasn’t there, how Adrien told to remain quiet as Lila wasn’t hurting anyone, how she was almost akumatised not once but twice. Marinette was in tears and was letting everything out.
Sabine and Tom couldn’t believe this. Their daughter was going through so much and not a single person acted on it.
“Marinette, honey, have you thought about switching classes or even schools?” Tom couldn’t help but questioned as his wife was seething in fury.
Marinette shook her head; it was clear that she wasn’t thinking about that. Tom pursed his lips as he looks around his daughter’s room for inspiration.
“How about we see how this week goes and before the new semester starts, we figure something out.” He suggests. It was then that Sabine looks at her husband in disbelief.
“Are you kidding me? No, once this project is done, I will march right up to the school and demand that they change your classes and if that doesn’t work then we’re going to pull you out.” Sabine was furious. Not only was the school ignoring their student, mainly her daughter’s mental health and education, they were falling into the hands of Lila Rossi.
“No, I’ll stick it through.” Marinette rejects. She knows that her parents will do anything for her, and the new room design was enough for her.
Sabine was conflicted, she knows her daughter can handle herself, but she doesn’t know for how long. Everyone has a breaking point and Marinette was nearing her breaking point if the room design wasn’t a clue enough.
“Fine, but the moment you break, you are leaving Collège Françoise Dupont.” Sabine counters, as Tom nods in agreement.
Marinette smiles and hugs her parents. This was the best news she heard in the past week.
“Merci, Maman.” She says as tears threaten to fall down her face.
To say the least, Marinette was grateful that she doesn’t have school tomorrow as it was the weekend.
The next day, Marinette woke up early. Tikki hovers beside her chosen as Marinette was choosing an outfit for the day.
“Marinette, why don’t you wear what you usually wear?” Tikki questions out of curiosity.
Marinette sets the outfits down and looks at her kwami with a bright smile. “It’s because I’m meeting with the interior designer, Maman spoke about. And I like to look nice for once, Tikki.”
Tikki hugs Marinette regardless. Marinette tries on different outfits until she chose pink overalls with a white t-shirt. After deciding on the clothes, Marinette runs out of her room and into the living room, where Sabine was talking to a taller woman with dark long hair, dressed in business casual like clothing.
“Marinette, this is Mlle Pierre, Aimee this is my daughter Marinette.” Sabine introduces.
Aimee stares down at Marinette, analyzing her before she spoke, “I assume you are a fashion designer Marinette, and if that is so…we have much to discuss.”
Marinette stares aghast at the woman in front of her as Sabine chuckles in the background. Â
