It's morning and they've just finished breakfast, too lazy to get up and take the dishes to the sink just yet and happy to just bask in the moment of being together.

Tony had crawled into Steve's lap halfway through eating and stayed there for the rest of their meal, but Steve can't say he minds. Not with Tony now snuggled up against his chest sleepily despite having just downed two cups of coffee.

He feels Tony chastely pecking him through his shirt, right over where his heart is, and smiles.

"That is not where kisses are supposed to go."

Steve gently guides Tony's face up and captures his lips. They stay there for a long moment before Steve pulls back.

"That is where kisses are supposed to go."

Tony chuckles softly and leans forward to nuzzle against Steve's neck, kissing him under his ear and sending shivers down Steve's spine.

I bought these in store. I bought 6 of them.

Pulling the cardboard flaps back, Steve reached into the box.Balled up newspaper was jammed into every corner. Packing tumbled to the floor.A headline caught his eye. Box forgotten, he stooped to pick up the crumpled paper.The front page had a big photo and a bigger headline. The tower was being sold.Avengers Tower. Stark Tower before that.

Sold.

Steve dropped into a nearby chair. He didn’t read thearticle, just laid it flat, smoothing out the creases with his palm. A pop startledhim. His gaze flickered over to the crackling fireplace. Focusing back on thepaper, his eyes glazed over. Twice, he attempted to read the article, but thewords didn’t sink in. The fire shifted and burned down. He needed to add a log.The pile near the flames was down to a log or two. Steve remained in his chair.

A loud thump came from outside. Footsteps clumped around onthe porch, their sound muffled by the swirling snow outside his window. Stevestood as his door popped open, a crisp wind blowing in.

Taking a step, he slipped the page into the fire.

Bucky shook snow from his jacket as he wrestled the doorclosed while holding his armful of logs.

“You get that stuff unpacked yet?” Bucky asked, as he tookin the mess on the table.

"Who took the last donut?"

Tony stares accusingly at all the occupants of the kitchen, but his eyes zero in on Clint who still has a bit of icing and powdered sugar dusted across his top lip. He points right at the archer. "You!"

"Hey, it's not like you had your name on it!"

"I was saving that for after I finished my suit upgrades! As a treat! Now I have an upgraded suit but no treat!"

He feels an arm wrap around him and instinctually melts into the body behind him.

Steve presses a kiss on his temple. "Come on, Tony. Don't be mad at Clint. I'll take you out for coffee and donuts now if you want."

Tony pouts. He really wanted that donut now. But with Steve nuzzling against him like this he can feel himself quickly giving in. An impromptu date involving Steve and coffee and donuts is definitely a better deal that just him eating a single donut alone in the kitchen.

"Okay, fine."

As he lets Steve drag him away from the kitchen towards the elevators, he hears Clint shouting after them. "Bring some back for the rest of us!"

The Bambi eyes are the killer, though.

two reasons tony stopped weapons manufacturing at stark industries:

he saw that no one was being held accountable for all the destruction that was being caused and he wanted to stop people from getting hurt by his inventions

Yeah, he’s a badass, but only when he needs to be. Otherwise he's just adorably smol.

And he's so GOOD! I just want to hug him and tell him it will be OK and that his heart is amazing and to not take any shit from anyone about being a genius softie.

So yeah...Tony.

how can one person possibly make you feel like 🥺 and 🥵 at the same time when you look at them? how does he do it? you look into tony’s bambi eyes and can’t help but feel an overwhelming amount of love for him. then you look further down to his ass and you just wanna. tap dat. honestly sometimes it’s just confusing, all those emotions he can inspire.

he really is just the absolute best. no he’s not perfect but he’s always trying so hard because he’s a soft bb and wants to do so much good!!
