it's set after the events of mk11, but a lot of absent/dead characters are here? think of this as a crack au since it's literally a dream and everyone acts off character. ok so basically- you know how sindel turned out to be evil the entire time? in my dream the real (good) sindel casually comes back one day and reunites with kitana and adopts mileena and skarlet as daughters, it's very wholesome- but everyone is rightfully like "wtf there's 2 sindels now". chaos ensues, the two sindels fight to see who's the real one, or something like that. evil!sindel is defeated and she's like "ok fine, time to drop the act i guess"

...and she morphs back into quan chi.

absolute shock from everyone, especially shang tsung who can't believe he was tricked into resurrecting the goth bald sorcerer- but MOSTLY shao khan, because his wife turned out to be an impostor.

s.k. "it was you this whole time???"

q.c. "muahahah, yes!"

s.k. "this... whole... time???" (sex implied)

q.c. "...uhh. yes."
