her birthday is February 9th, 2021, but I got her from my cousin in April 2021.

here's some Spark-lore: my cousin's dog, Mischief, ( rescued stray) had puppies about 5 years ago, and they decided to keep one puppy. fast-forward 2 years, this puppy, Ruby ( mix-breed) , also had puppies, and my cousin sent us a picture of all the puppies and said " do you want one?"

so of course, I said yes, and in that picture, every single pup was black, like their mum, except one, which was brown like her grandma, so I chose that one. My mother intervened, saying it looked unwell, and showed me the pup next to her, all cute with her ear sticking up.

We decided on her, and picked her up April 5th, 2021. On the way home, we ( my dad, sister, and me) were brainstorming names. My sister wanted to name her Sapphire, I didn't know what to name her, though I put a lot of thought in it, and my father just said " how about Spark, cause of the triangle over her nose?" and we decided on Spark.
