Nothing but an airy laugh escaped the man, a slight more wheeze upon the weight of bodily contact. Darterys rolled his head to release the tension that lie in his neck, the noises agitating to a deep hiss before looking down at Mivy. His humanoid hand lifted her chin to look her in the eyes, an exhausted aura lying behind his own. "I would have been here sooner - but it would seem this time someone...something...or many, who the hell knows, really likes to get my goat and block me from my chosen pathways. Likes to halt my powers and send me elsewhere." He huffed, shifted a bit as he brushed his fingers comfortingly through her hair. "I can't tell you how many times my body has been through the ringer. But...such as it goes. I trust you have not been harmed? Are you alright?"
