Not really. She’s pretty cool under most situations, but with the right circumstances you may find her reacting as such!DARTIf they were asked to explain the difference between romantic and platonic or familial love, how would they do so?

He would probably put it rather eloquently, perhaps poetically as such:

Romantic love - Sentimentality at it’s purest form, as though you’ve ascended to a higher plane of meaning/understanding. That which was lost, perhaps now is found, in warmth and loving embrace. A flame ever lasting, protected from ever diminishing.Platonic/familial love - The clothes on my back. A treasured talisman. Something at times tangible yet not. Despite the form, it is welcome and kind, warm. A likeness that is not always found and often rare. It is a presence once in a lifetime to cherish. If longer - cherish all the more.

Nothing but an airy laugh escaped the man, a slight more wheeze upon the weight of bodily contact. His movements were quite slow, for good reason, as cautionary as he was with his current condition he was sure anything drastic would leave his corporeal form to tear and to be shred into the ether realms. His powers were usually quite strong, but with the slew of incidents and events he'd run into for what felt like months worth of time - it had depleted to a great degree. It did not stop him from lifting the rather monstrous hand to rest about her back, holding her that much closer. "Such is my ways, certainly. But I am never absent."

The only thing seen within the room of peculiar presence ways that of the tall and leering shapeshifter, laden in cooler tones from the dim lighting of the windows just a few feet away.

The feeling that resonated within you was strange, almost displaced as though not connected to you yet it felt as though attached to your very being. As though astral projection had not quite reverted back to the normal existence of mortal life. You felt weird.

But despite this, the sight before you of the man now with a lit cigarette dangling, the embers brightening before smoke slipped past his lips, just watched you with shallow breaths.

"Despite. ..everything, even my very existence, there has always been a constant that has been terribly prevelant, especially...as of late..." he shifted, a faint squelching noise emitting from his...body? You couldn't see much without squinting hard, you did however guess that his form was not quite...all together.

He wheezed. "No matter how many hells or how often such demons tried to snatch you from my grip - all the times Id exerted my abilities...perhaps even with how selfish I can present myself to be..." Darterys' eyes glowed with a great intensity, and yet there was a softness to the glow.
