#mitotane tablets

Lysodren is an antineoplastic (anticancer) drug used in the treatment of cancer of the adrenal gland (adrenal cortical carcinoma). Lysodren is a medication that specifically contains the active substance named mitotane. This drug is available as tablets (500 mg). Therapy with lysodren should be initiated and followed by a doctor who has relevant experience. The usual starting dose in adults is 2-3 g daily, divided into 2/3 doses, administered with meals that contain fatty food.
