I’m cheating. This isn’t page 7 of the work because A) then it’d already be stuff you know and B) I don’t have 7 pages of this chapter yet. To my everlasting shame.

Ah-hem. Anyway

The next time Michael saw more of his friends was on Neville’s birthday. Even then Ginny wasn’t there, having sent her apologies and a vague message about being somewhere safe.  That she didn’t say more was strange, but most of her messages had been conspicuously without mention of her normal house.

Considering she normally always complained about something going wrong in her house, this absence was suspicious. Michael probably would have worried more if he wasn’t who he was, but he could tell she was safe.

He didn’t actually go looking further. He’d been reliably informed this was “stalking” and “vaguely creepy” at numerous points during second year. Michael wasn’t entirely sure why his friends were so fussed about this.

Their governments certainly weren’t.

I think this shows just how, even though they've both grown a lot, they're both very much still the same. Gabriel is still very Dao about finding the path of least resistance (for the little things that do not involve the apocalypse) and Sam is still very I shall stand upon this rock (house) and shall be cast down for my beliefs (have my eyeballs burnt out of their sockets by teh unspeakable).

Certain character traits remain the same, no matter how much time passes. :P

And while Gabriel/Tony is certainly willing to dig his heels in when it matters, he does like finding the path of least resistance. xD

......Does Sam call Human!Sam Sasquatch? Or Samsquatch? I imagine it could get confusing if both of them are in the same room (and one party is not freaking out/screaming internally)

After apologizing, it comes down to sassy comments and “Sammy, dear.”

But they don’t talk much, largely because Samael doesn’t have much to say and Sam feels a bit uncomfortable.

Gabriel is now the fun police. Next thing we know he's going to be limiting chocolate intake.

*gasps* BLASPHEMY! He would never!

I can imagine Gabriel saying nibling to Raphael and then Raphael giving Gabby the most deadpan look ever while internally laughing.

Nibling’s perfect for Gabriel/Tony, but for every other person?? It just doesn’t work. I mean, Castiel would use it in an offhand way that means he’s totally serious and only half-aware of the hilarity of the situation.
