Erin is the 5th child of the Mitchell Clan and Rory’s younger twin. Like their siblings, Erin grows up as a member of the Ikkinor Kingdom. They are known for their pragmatic personality. Unlike their twin, Erin is never serious, even in life-or-death situations. Erin, like their siblings, was deemed to be magicless at birth but was found to have magic later in life. They find a hobby in archery, practising with Prince Leifr often. Erin received the scar on his face at a young age before being sent to the Ikkinor Kingdom. During a spar with their older brother, Alisdair, their face was hit with a sword. The sword was supposed to be a training sword but had been switched by Queen Ethel before they began.

Rory is the eldest of the second set of Mitchell twins and the 4th child of the clan. Rory is traded to the Ikkinor kingdom along with Erin and Devoughn. Like Devoughn, he was believed to have no magical abilities. He resents the Avis Kingdom for separating him from his siblings and the death of his mother. He finds an outlet in fighting, becoming a warrior for the Ikkinor kingdom and a guard for Prince Einarr. He is very serious unless Erin is around. He takes an interest in the wyverns, spending time helping Devougn in his studies when he isn’t training with Amelia. Occasionally he allows himself to get outnumbered by Amelia and Erin, leading to them getting into trouble for messing around within the kingdom. Lucky for them, the queen finds their antics amusing so they are only ever given castle chores as a punishment when they get caught.

Alisdair is the eldest of the Mitchell clan. He is the son of Quinn and Aileen, and the only Mitchell to remain in the Avis Kingdom. He grows bitter as his younger siblings are deemed too weak for the clan and sold, traded or given to other kingdoms. When he is six, his mother is killed by Queen Ethel as punishment for arguing against an order, he, unfortunately, was in the room when it happened. He picks up a smoking habit when he is 8. He is tasked with serving as the personal guard to Princess Hannah. Like all in his cohort of servants, those who will serve Hannah when she becomes Queen of Avis, he is branded on the neck with the pink horn symbol. He is known for his laid-back personality and fiery temper. He is known to physically lash out when stressed, especially as a teen.

Peter is the 6th and final child of the Mitchell Clan. He was banished from the Avis Kingdom at the youngest age out of his siblings. He has no memories of his siblings, other than Arthur, and has no memories of his parents. He was born deaf, leading to him being deemed unworthy of the Avis Kingdom. At the incident where his mother was killed, King Enok decided to take Peter and Arthur as servants to his kingdom. As Peter grows, King Enok allows him to get away with more than other servants, taking him directly under his tutelage to teach him the Lund’s environmental magic in hopes of helping Peter learn to use his deafness as an advantage. Peter finds himself unlocking his own magical ability as a toddler. He is known for his mischievous nature and constantly relying on his older brother.

Devoughn is the second eldest of the Mitchell Clan. Arthur is his twin brother. He was born without magical abilities, deeming him worthless to the Andersons. Due to this, he is sold to the Ikkinor Kingdom along with his younger siblings Erin and Rory. He was 6 when he is sent to serve Ikkinor. He becomes friends with Prince Einarr, who allows him access to the Wyverns. He finds that he does have magical talent when he is 8, using it for the first time by accident and while under pressure. To his gratitude, the Landvik rulers vow to keep any magical abilities of their servants secret, keeping him from being sent back to Avis. His right hand was branded with the grey wyvern wing marking him as a servant of Ikkinor. He has a calm demeanour and is known for his soft quiet voice. He would rather be with a book or the wyverns than other people.

Artie is the third eldest of the Mitchell clan and the younger twin of Devoughn. When he was 4, he was present when his mother was killed. He tried to help her but was tackled to the ground by his brother Alistair, leading to him losing most of his sight in his left eye. As punishment for trying to attack the queen, Ethel banishes him and his newborn brother, Peter. Luckily, King Enok of the Oklever Kingdom had been present and offered shelter to him and Peter. Growing up in Oklever, Artie dedicates his time to studying the new wildlife and the magic of the land. He becomes attached to Prince Jason and tutors him as he grows. He is branded on his left hand with the blue turtle shell, like all Oklever servants. He is known for his short temper, calm demeanour, and stubborn personality.
