Derivatives are weird and I don’t like them

I’m a couple days into my free MIT calculus class and...I’m so lost. I’m going to add in some Khan Academy videos to fill in the gaps. Latin isn’t giving me any trouble so far but I’m still on the easy material I remember from high school and it’s early days.

I like that I can just wear hiking gear every day and it’s not weird

Kombucha, which is really my year-round favorite

I ran into an old classmate on my way to work the other day. Now he’s sending me snapchats and asking all about my personal life...dude, I’m so busy. Also we are in the middle of a pandemic and I’m living with my parents so I’m not looking to introduce extra risk into the house beyond having to go to work.

Algorithms - Recitation Lecture

RL as in Recitation lecture. I just discovered that out of 47 videos, only 24 were lectures and the remaining were revision lectures by TA (Teacher’s Assistant). So, I just watched the first RL. And cleared many fundamental concepts.

The best part about watching such a revision lecture is that, you get to know the same thing from two different people. So, you look at the same thing in two different perspectives, that gives you a better grasp over the concept (or subject).

Infinite series can be a pleasure (sometimes). They throw a beautiful light on sin x and cos x. They give famous numbers like pi and e. Usually they produce totally unknown functions – which might be good. But on the painful side is the fact that an infinite series has infinitely many terms.
